Short Courses - Powerful sessions to rapidly build teacher and school leader capacity - From the CEO Something powerful has been happening over the last few years. What had been a collection of programs run by EC across Australia and the globe, turned into a movement. Teacher led innovation is now firmly established as one of the leading ideas in the education sector, and we are thrilled. As hundreds gathered in Melbourne for our EC15 conference, thousands went through our award winning Changemaker Journey curriculum, and as tens of thousands engaged on our online platforms and with our new book Edupreneur, we were blown away by the many incredible teacher led innovations we saw changing the lives of children across the world.

The collective genius of teachers and school leaders driving powerful changes in their schools and systems is now certainly well beyond us, and we are thrilled to be making a contribution to it.

Participants will engage with a range of skills that they would expect to cover in a regular Masters of Business Administration, but enjoy the way in which the EC team makes these concepts highly relevant for educators. A great course to re-inspire an established leader, or prepare an emerging leader, the MBA in a Day is an intense and fun day, high on take home points.

STEP UP: Communication skills for educators Educators are always speaking in front of crowds, they just usually happen to be crowds of young people! What is interesting, is that if you ask an educator to stand up at a conference, or in a room of their peers, many of them will break into a cold sweat!

In this course, in a safe and supportive environment, our team helps to dramatically improve the communication skills of all participants no matter how scared they intially are of speaking in public. Educators will learn how to hold clear meetings, pitch their ideas to gain strong support, create and deliver inspired speeches and ground this with strong design and messaging principles.
